Daughters of Wisdom Program #23 -Women of Valor Part 21 – Foster Mother or Daughter
The sixth ‘woman of valor’ is introduced and examined from various angles, including Midrash and Josephus, in addition to scripture. She is also compared with the sixth paragraph of Psalm 119, which lends some interesting pictures concerning her character. Proverbs 31 is revisited in light of the irony of this heroine and her later counter-part.
