I discuss in this program the Hebrew word “Echad” which is usually translated “one.” Like the previous words with regards to the Biblical Day this word helps us further understand the Biblical cycle of the day.
However, this word is somewhat problematic when it is used as a phrase “yom echad.” We discuss these probles and give lexical definitions for our words.

Program #58 – The Matrix and Jewish Spirituality
In this program I begin a new series. I superficially look at the movie “The Matrix” as means for understanding Judeo-Christian spirituality.
I look at three basic models of mysticism and explain their places in society and the Judeo-Christian Faith.
In conclusion I define spirituality so that we can look at genuine spirituality, purpose and development over the co0ming weeks.
