I begin this project by looking at Vayikra (Leviticus) chapter 1 and the phraseology of its opening passages. I also look at Shaul’s phrase concerning “living sacrifices.” In the coming programs I will delve more deeply into the allegorical understanding of the Korbanot.

HaShem. Then I move to the allegorical interpretation of Shir HaShirim
(Song of Songs – which are Solomon’s). I take the remainder of the program
to explain the opening sentences of Shir HaShirim, “Let Him kiss me with the
kisses of His mouth.” What can the allegorical interpretation of this
verse possibly mean?
