Today marks the first day of the seventh month. It is Yom Teruah – and therefore the beginning of the Holy Month. We are entering into a 10 day period known as “asereth Yemei Teshuvah” – the 10 days of repentance. The central message of the day is a call for Israel to return to it’s God – to Yehovah. In this week’s class Ross discusses the “time” of the return and the importance of the return as well as what that return should look like. He covers the “song” in Deuteronomy 32, but shows that it is not properly the “song of Moses”, but rather the song is Yehovah’s. The song is a warning to Israel and h=the words of this song should be heard by all of Israel and action taken in order to bring about a restoration between God and His people. You will not want to miss this class.

This week’s class is on two Torah readings (Nitzavim and VaYelech). The material covers Deuteronomy 29:9-31:30 and the prophetic reading is Isaiah 61:10 – 63:9. In this week’s message Ross covers the “hiding of God’s Face” and a phrase translated as “restoring the fortunes”. It centers on the return of God’s people to the way – a renewal of the covenant. You will not want to miss this teaching.
