One in His Hand Program #16- Foundations- Immersions part 1

This week we begin exploring the subject of immersions (plural). The teaching concerning immersions is one of the first principles of the Oracles of God – specifically,  immersion in water and in the holy spirit.  Yochanon ha Matvil (John the Immerser) was a prophet who came in the spirit and power of Elijah. He picked up and applied the pattern of Elisha the prophet when he told Na’aman the Gentile to immerse himself seven times in the Jordan River. The same pattern is followed throughout the Nazarean Testimony. Yeshua of Nazareth said, “…Yochanon indeed immersed with water: but you shall be immersed in the Holy Spirit…”

A Child is born…Shemoth

Roots of Faith 25 Dec 2010 | : ROF Shabbat Services, Roots of Faith, Syndicated

This week, many are thinking of the birth of a child who would become a deliverer. This deliverer was miraculously delivered from the hands of those who sought to take his life as an infant. We know little of his childhood. He was to be used to bring about a great salvation. Later we learn that he is to die on a mount and his grave and burial were surrounded by mystery. He would not be succeeded by children but his words live forever.

Who is this deliverer? In this week’s lesson, Ross shares information about this deliverer, but does it all from the book of Exodus! You will not want to miss this class.

“In the beginning was the word [of God] and the word [of God] was with God…” John 1:1:13 The word of God came to men from God. It came to Adam down to Noah. It came to Noah down to Melchizedek. It came to Abram. It came to Abraham down to the 12 Tribes. The word of God came to Moses and to the Prophets. And, through all of them, the word of God came to the world, which God had made through His word. And most of the nations of the world did not receive it. The word of God came through His agents to the world and as many of them received that word, God gave them the right and opportunity to become sons of God. And then, “the word became flesh and dwelt among us…” John 1:14

And Jacob Lived

Roots of Faith 18 Dec 2010 | : ROF Shabbat Services, Roots of Faith, Syndicated

In this week’s class Ross speaks on the final words of Jacob. He seeks to show the prophetic implications to Jacob’s words in the blessings of the tribes. The teaching focuses on the sons of Joseph – namely Ephraim and Menashe and how these sons of Joseph would lose their identity, becoming “Gentiles” in a sense according to the prophecy of Jacob. Ross shows through the words of the prophets that these words indeed came to pass and that a promise of restoration is taking place in our day. You will not want to miss this teaching.

The Gates Program #185 – Keys to Understanding the Gospels 2

In this second episode we continue with a study of the background of John one. Topics discussed are the role of Elijah as fulfilled by Yochanan haMatvil (John the Baptist) and the Servant Passages of the book of Isaiah. The program concludes with a teaching on why the Lamb of G-d who takes away the sins of the world is a mistranslation and how it should be understood.

Joseph Yet Lives!

Roots of Faith 11 Dec 2010 | : ROF Shabbat Services, Roots of Faith, Syndicated

In this week’s class Ross teaches on Torah Reading VaYigash. It is about a reunion between Joseph and Judah. While the story covers historical events in the lives of the patriarchs, Ross shows that it also seems to point beyond to the fulfillment of ancient prophecies concerning the reunion of the “two houses” of Israel. The rabbis also point this out in a hint by associating the Torah Reading VaYigash to the 37th chapter of Ezekiel. You will not want to miss this class. Ode Yosef Chai – Joseph yet lives!

We should understand the difference between The Sender and His Sent Ones. At the Festival of Dedication (John 10:22 – Hanukkah) there were false accusations made about Rabbi Yeshua. Looking for an opportunity to stone him, some Judean authorities accused the Galilean Rabbi Yeshua of making himself God. This accusation was made back then, and the same accusation exists today and is totally false. “I and my Father are one” is the goal for which all the sons of God should strive.
