In this week’s class Ross teaches on the subject of Biblical diet. Many people find that diet is not an essential part of the faith and yet according to the Bible, Diet has always been an important part of God’s plan. Specifically, Christians seem to believe that Jesus abrogated the dietary laws and therefore they do not believe that it is important to keep these commands. Ross argues this point from a Biblical view and encourages people to begin to eat a Biblical diet. You will not want to miss the class. Share it with others. The first file is the class and the second is the dialogue after the class. In the dialogue we had some good conversation with friends in Israel and we also had Dr. Tabor come on and explain the Greek behind Mark chapter 7 which is often used to convince Christians that all meat is now clean. Is that the case?

Shabbat Zachor and Amalek

Today is a special Sabbath called Shabbat Zachor. On this day we are commanded to “remember” what Amalek did to the children of Israel – how he attacked the children of Israel. We are also charged to “not forget” this evil name. We are assured that the name of Amalek will ultimately be blotted out. The class today shows that Amalek still roams about seeking to destroy the Jewish people. Ross puts forth a challenge to stand with the Jewish people and shares his heartfelt feelings about the massacre of the Fogel family in the community of Itamar. A major point of the class is to show that God is in control and that perhaps we are to ask ourselves what Mordechai asked Esther – “Who knows whether you are come to the kingdom for such a time as this.” Weaving the themes of Amalek and Shabbat Zachor with Purim and the tragic events of March 11th in the community of Itamar this class should inspire you to do what you can to stand with the Jewish people. Enjoy the class and share it far and wide.

The First of the Firstfruits offering and the Firstfruits offering speak of the Resurrections. THE Messiah is like the First of the Firstfruits waved by the High Priest before HaShem during Passover Week. Those who belong to him (the righteous dead) are the Firstfruits brought at Shavuot/Pentecost throughout the Summer until the Fall Festivals. At the return of Yeshua The Messiah, Firstfruits will be raised from the dead. And, successive resurrections will take place throughout the Messianic Age until The End of that Age, when the Messianic/Israeli mission will be completed. And, then…death is destroyed!!!

This week, Ross begins his study of the third book of the Torah – commonly known as Leviticus. In this opening class, Ross provides an introduction to the book and then proceeds to teach on the subject of Sacrifices and offerings. In what may be seen as controversial, Ross argues that God truly wants the heart and that the blood of bulls and goats – or blood of any kind is not what God truly wants or requires. You will not want to miss this class. Whether or not you agree with the teaching, you will need to re-examine what you thought about this subject. The dialogue is also available. It includes a call in from one of our friends who offers some points in response to the class.

The Scriptures teach us by plain speach, by connecting words and themes, and by implicit questions that ask for answers. Resurrection of the body in the Age to Come is the answer to humanity’s dilemna of death - “…in the day that you eat thereof, you shall surely die.” In connection with Adam, all people die. In connection with The Last Adam, THE Messiah, all the righteous will awake from the dust unto everlasting life into bodily immortality.
