Debbie GoodDebra (Debbie) Good has long been a support to her husband and soul-mate, Joseph Good, and continues to serve alongside him at Hatikva Ministries and his research endeavors. She is no stranger to the difficulties in raising children and maintaining a faith-based home in spite of the challenges faced when living outside an orthodox community. She is continually sought as a resource concerning Biblical festivals, kosher diet, children’s activities, Passover seders and much more. She provides a rough edit for all Joseph’s written material, and many times has commissioned or inspired his writings, such as “Prophecies in the Book of Esther” and “A Non-Jew’s Guide to Jewish Sources.” In fact, a considerable portion of the book, “A Concise Guide to the Mishnah and Tosefta” was her work.

Debbie holds a music degree (along with a teaching certificate) from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. Over the years she has continued to teach private piano lessons in her home and serves on several community and school musical activities. Recently, on the Hatikva Ministries web site she provided several video segments on well-known Hebrew songs: describing use of the song, background, composer, and musical notation. These segments were very popular and will likely return.

She is a wife, mother, and grandmother who joined the work force in order to better provide for her family’s expenses. Her program, “Daughters of Wisdom,” will no-doubt reflect some of the struggles she has faced, and her Biblical response to modern women’s issues.
