http://edgar-ramos-englishEn octubre del 1996 una amiga me regalo mi primer Biblia, tan pronto como comencé a leerla note que al estar en el Libro del Profeta Ezekiel, algunos de los pasajes de los capítulos 2y 3 parecían hablarme directamente, mi corazón latía rápidamente al leerlos, y lo sigue haciendo hasta este día.
¨Abre tu boca y come lo que Yo te doy….y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, alimenta tu vientre y llena tus entrañas de este rollo que Yo te doy. Y lo comí, y fue en mi boca dulce como miel.
Y me dijo, hijo de hombre, ve y entra a la Casa de Israel y habla a ellos con mis palabras, porque no eres enviado a pueblo de habla profunda ni de lengua difícil sino a la Casa de Israel. Así ha dicho el Señor, haShem, escuchen o dejen de escuchar.
Y me levanto el Espíritu, y oí detrás de mi una voz de gran estruendo que decía: Bendita sea la Gloria de haShem desde su Lugar.
Hijo de hombre Yo te he puesto por Atalaya a la Casa de Israel, oirás la Palabra de Mi boca y los amonestaras de mi parte.
Cuando Yo dijere al impío: De cierto morirás, y tu no le amonestares ni hablares, para que el impío sea apercibido de su mal camino a fin de que viva, el impío morirá por su maldad, pero su sangre demandare de tu mano.
Pero si amonestares al impío y el no se convirtiere de su impiedad y de su mal camino, él morirá por su maldad, pero tu habrás librado tu alma.¨
Los últimos 20 años de mi vida han sido un reto constante, al intentar cada día cumplir con esta difícil encomienda, pero con la ayuda de nuestro Padre Celestial podemos ir de victoria en victoria. En mi caminar he conocido infinidad de doctrinas religiosas, y en mi búsqueda de la verdad, la Escritura siempre me ha sabido guiar al lugar donde todo comenzó: Israel. donde nuestro amado Mesías enseño la verdad del Reino.
Originario de Aguascalientes, México, he vivido esta ultima década en la Cd. De Austin Tx. Donde mi esposa Adriana y mis hijos Jessica, Ana y Aarón me inspiran cada día a cumplir mi llamado. Juntos caminamos en la Torah de vida, tratando de inspirar a otros. Shalom.
In October of 1996 a friend of mine gifted me my first bible. As soon as I started to read it, I noticed that some of the verses in the book of Prophet Ezequiel, Chapter 2 and 3, seemed to talk to me directly. My heart pounded fast as I read them, and it still does ‘til this day.
“Then he said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it.” So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth. He then said to me: “Son of man, go now to the people of Israel and speak my words to them.
Go now to your people in exile and speak to them. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says,’ whether they listen or fail to listen.” Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me a loud rumbling sound as the glory of the Lord rose from the place where it was standing.
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.”
The last 20 years of my life have been a constant struggle trying to accomplish this commitment to the best of my ability, but with the help of our Heavenly Lord, He’ll lead us from victory to victory. Through this walk, I’ve met an infinity of religious doctrines. And through my search for the truth, the Scriptures have always guided me to the place where it all started: Israel, where our beloved Messiah taught the truth of the Reign.
Born in Aguascalientes,Mexico, I’ve lived this last decade in the city of Austin, TX; where my wife and mi children Jessica, Ana, and Aaron inspire me every day to fulfill my calling. Together, we walk in the life of Torah, trying to inspire others. Shalom.
